Registration Deadline and Completed Forms by Monday, September 23, 2019
Leadership Center for Excellence (LCE) invites you to register for the Ignite Young Professionals Program Class of 2020! Register online using the following registration form. Please learn about the program, including its required time and financial commitment, before registering.
The deadline to register and complete the forms is Monday, September 23, 2019. The class size is limited to roughly 40-50 participants.
Check your calendar prior to applying against the dates below to ensure no known conflicts exist. Please reserve these dates until you are informed of your application status.
Ignite participants are expected to physically attend all sessions, including the mandatory Opening Retreat on Tuesday, October 1. No more than two excused session absences are permitted. Any participants who have an unexcused absence, miss the Opening Retreat or miss more than two sessions will be dropped from the program and will not graduate with their classmates.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITERIA
The Ignite Young Professionals Program is designed for the young professional, aged 25-35, looking for a fast track leadership development experience. This program works best for those who believe community engagement and giving back matters. The Leadership Center is looking for aspiring high potentials with a sense of urgency for both career advancement and community impact and want the knowledge, connections and safe place to practice developing skills that move them faster towards meaningful leadership. Ignite Young Professional Program was crafted to expose participants to ideas, organizations and established area leaders that can catapult emerging leaders into situations to create real value and change.
All registrants must:
Be 25-35 years old.
Commit the required time to the program.
Have the support of the organization for whom the participant works (understanding the time requirements and/or tuition).
Use his or her leadership skills and knowledge for the long-term benefit of the community.
While registration forms are confidential, we may use the information submitted by class members in printed materials.
Tuition for the Young Professionals Program is $2,950. The participant and/or employer/sponsor will be expected to pay tuition by September 30, 2019 unless other arrangements have been made with approval from Liz Nohra, Chief of External Relations, of LCE. Tuition covers all program costs, including food and materials, as well as tickets to Leadership Summit (February 28) and the Legislative Breakfast (April 24).
Tuition is non-refundable in whole or part in the event that the participant fails to complete the program due to non-attendance or other circumstances. Payment plans are available upon request by contacting Liz Nohra, Chief of External Relations, at email@example.com. A limited number of partial scholarships are available where need is adequately demonstrated (see below).
Leadership Center for Excellence encourages qualified candidates to apply to the Young Professionals Program. A limited number of partial scholarships are available. Candidates interested in applying for financial assistance should submit a one-page document with the amount requested and the reason for the request. Please note there is no online scholarship request form. Requests must be submitted at the time you submit your application and can be sent via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Additionally, if the applicant’s organization is paying any portion of the tuition, submit an organizational budget with the scholarship request. Admission decisions are needs-blind. All scholarship requests will remain confidential.

Take time to highlight what unique professional and personal experiences and perspectives you bring to the group.
Past community service or volunteerism is considered, however, a desire to deepen involvement is very important.
